When you're ready to think about what's next — for your family, your employees, and your customers — we work with you, not around you. It's a collaborative process, built to maximize the value of everything you've created.
The name on your trucks is important in your community. We preserve local brands and the relationships behind them — that reputation is exactly what we're investing in.
No games, no retrading, no endless diligence. We tell you how we think about value early, put real numbers on the table, and do what we say we're going to do.
Full exit, stay on and run the business, or something in between — we structure around your goals and your timeline.
We do what we say because we already have the capital. No financing contingencies, no last-minute surprises — when we put an offer in front of you, it's funded and ready to close.
Selling the company you built shouldn't be painful. Here's the process.
It starts with a phone call — no obligation, no pressure, and complete discretion. Many owners talk with us a year or more before they're ready. That's fine by us.
We ask for a short list of basics — gallons, customer dynamics, tanks, financials — and we handle everything under a signed confidentiality agreement. No fishing expeditions.
We put a clear offer in writing and shape the structure to fit your goals — your proceeds, your timeline, and the outcome you want for your team.
We close on schedule and transition carefully — no disruption for your customers, continuity for your people and your way of doing business, and a handoff plan we build together.
We concentrate where propane and other fuels are essential, the communities are strong, and independent operators lead their markets.
Offices — Denver, Colorado (HQ) & BostonOutside these regions? Talk to us anyway — exceptional companies get our attention wherever they are.
You'll deal directly with the two of us — one who grew up in this industry, and one who's spent a career funding and building energy businesses.
Aaron grew up in the propane business. His family founded Como Oil and Propane 80 years ago. He ran the family's Florida business and expanded it by founding a distinct operation in Como Keys Propane — building it from the ground up to just under 2 million gallons a year before exiting.
He held a Florida Master Qualifier and has been active on the NPGA Benchmarking Council and Florida NPGA, working alongside the operators who set the standard for this industry.
Bryce is a 3rd generation investor and operator in the energy business. He has spent his career building and backing energy businesses — and he brings that experience to the table for every owner we sit down with. At Voyageur, he manages diligence and closing, running a process that's sophisticated, efficient, and respectful of your time.
Beyond diligence, Bryce has led two companies to exit as an operator. He's been in your shoes.
Behind Voyageur stands BayHawk Capital, a Boston-based private equity firm that partners with founder-owned, essential services businesses across North America. BayHawk recently closed its first fund oversubscribed at more than $600 million, and brings a patient, partnership-driven approach that matches our own.
What that means for you is simple: you work with Aaron and Bryce, start to finish — and BayHawk is the committed capital standing behind every offer we make.
Our doors are open. If your company sounds like this — or you're just starting to think about it — a conversation costs nothing and stays between us.
Whether you're ready to sell, planning a few years out, or just curious what your company might be worth — reach out. You'll hear back directly from Aaron and Bryce.
Your message has been received. Aaron and Bryce will be in touch shortly — and everything you've shared stays confidential.
